Join in Colorado’s efforts for open captions (OC) at  theaters and drive-in movies
Let's Get More Theaters in Colorado to Offer Open Caption (OC) movies!  HOW??
Plan in advance, select a specific movie, and request any theater near you to offer OC.  YES - this is an accommodation required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).   Scroll down to read more about a proposed bill in Colorado

To get started, you can find upcoming movies any time on this link.  To learn how to make a request, click on: "How to Request OC Showing".   Questions?  Contact Terri at [email protected]
IMPORTANT!   Frequent these movies often - take your friends - tell others.  And, most importantly, let your Cinemark manager know how much you appreciate their open caption program, and that you are there because the movie is shown with open captions! Or leave a note at the customer service for the manager to read later.

HLAA Colorado Chapters members, the Colorado Association of the Deaf, the Rocky Mountain ADA Center, and The Colorado Springs Independence Center support open captioned movies at Colorado theaters.

Consider how you can be involved and contribute  as we strategize and organize this grassroots movement.   Questions?  Contact either:
